Day 5: 
Munich or Salzburg
 
Full day to explore on your own or take an optional trip to Salzburg and the Salt Mines.  Description below:

Start your excursion in the picturesque village of Berchtesgaden, where you’ll take an exciting underground tour via train, boat and wooden slides through the 450-year-old salt mines. Then off to Salzburg, the city of Mozart for a tour!
 

Day 6: 
Neuschwanstein & Lucerne

* stop in Liechtenstein
* visit Neuschwanstein Castle
* continue to Lucerne
 

Day 7 
Lucerne
 
* Lion Monument
* Chapel Bridge
* Time to explore
 

Day 8: 

Heidelberg
 
* Travel through the Black Forest
* Travel by the Rhine Falls
* Visit the Heidelberg Castle wine barrel
